For those of you perched on the wall and wondering which camp (one child or two) to jump into...
Here's evidence to convince you that
a) the second child will find ways to entertain herself.
Hmm...my fingers look interesting!
b) the second child will also often entertain and pamper the older one!
c) the two together will indulge you every now and then - let you take pictures, finish your lunch and then attend to them! When you see them bond this way, I can guarantee you will feel that it was worth going through all the pregnancy pains again!
d) You can relive every precious moment, every little milestone again with the second one - except this time you will* be more relaxed as a parent and enjoy it peacefully.
e)You will love your first child in a whole new dimension - in the role of the older sibling. You will marvel at the love he is capable of giving to someone who supposedly is now competing for your attention!

Hey Noon aka...loving,caring,proud,releived mum indeed lovely to see KB and KG and man! they are soooooo adorable...please do the 'nazar utaarna' stuff soon. Yes...this really makes me feel it is just apt to have 2 kids for it is so obvious that they need each others company as they grow. I'd love to have two kids myself....but as you have said in one of your posts "rendu kids porkunumn irunda..poraka pordhu!" so :) Cute lil' post Noon and we'd love to see the family pic soon!
Hi,
Both of them look so adorable !!!
Enjoy :)
They look so cute. I feel like biting KG's cheeks.
Hugs & Kisses to both of them:-0
Shhhho shweeeet ...loads and loads of hugs and kisses to KB and KG - they look so adorable. Lovely to see ur kids. Waiting to see ur pic soon now.
And you know I am absolutely with you on this ..so smart of u to do such a cute post about it :)
What precious pictures!! So beautiful! But I still am not falling for the twosome trap..not yet :P
Ok..jokes apart, I cannot afford to have a baby for reasons that I won't start to ramble about here and hog your comments space.
But yes, I had always dreamed of having two kids..one son and one daughter! My son is here, lets see when the daughter arrives :)
they look sooo cute. I am sure KB makes a great Big Brother. He is so gentle and mature. Beautiful pics. Bless them!
Adorable kids and beautiful pictures.
I rest my case. I just live to see the two of them play. We have mad fights too now that she is walking and talking and taking his stuff away. but the cutest is telling them to kiss each other...
beautiful beautiful pictures noonie... you can say anything you want to me. I'm not bothered. i'm too busy soaking up the beautiful babies... and marveling over their lovely thick hair. gorgeous babies... bless them. really - you and me, we're blessed to have had it this way...
Adorable.. is this post directed at me ?? :D
Look at them... Both of them are so absolutely cute..
Did you change the template again? Or is it just me losing it?
Awesome photos !!! In the last photo of KB, he looks just like you :-)
LIke we needed any more prodding ! Between you and the Mad Momma, you are atleast somewhat responsible for the explosion in the second baby phenomenon (atleast in the blogosphere:)
Lovely lovely lovely (to the power of n) pictures.
They look so cute together :)
Beautiful pics :)
Will come back to look at these GORGEOUS pictures in a few months when I'm tearing my hair out dealing with a new born and a tantrumy two-year old, just to remind me that things will get better! :-)
Absolutely adorable!
adorable, adorable and adorable!!!
good insights and i second everyone of them..
Very nice pics noonie. I second with you on those thoughts of the second child.
i totally totally agree - with a,b,c,d and e!
Swati: Thanks
Chitra: Thanks...Yeah, if mom was around she would have done that...
Hah Hah if I posted a family pic - showing the tired mom - it will defeat the message in this post! ;)
Shweta - thanks!
Lavs - thanks - shall pass it on...Look forward to seeing pics of your little one too...
Neera - Yeah will mail you my pic - since you are in the same boat! :) Tired mom! :)
NM - What?! Between MM and me we have not managed to convince you! :)) Just kidding. You know I am not really trying to force this issue on anyone - sort of posted this in a light vein - but when I was thinking so much about whether or not to have a second child, I was standing in limbo for so long...so something like this would have been good for me then (which my cousin did send me - pics of her two kids!).
Dotmom - thanks...He really is so gentle and loving to her...so mcuh so it is hard for me and B to see that KG is only a baby - if she doesn't smile at him when he tries to make her smile, we feel so bad - I get such a heart ache looking at KB - and it is even more touching that he is not bothered by it - he continues to pet her and make her smile etc...
MM - thanks. Yes, we are blessed and I do feel grateful for that...
Oh good, I can say nasty things to you on email and quickly send a pic of them so you won't get mad at me! :)
RJ - thanks!
Preethi - get to work! ;)
DDMom - you must be losing it! :))
Actually I did change my template once for just a day I think and finally settled on this one the next day...so really I changed it only once (doubt you saw it in the little time in between).
Ranjani - thanks. You know, my meanie pals tell me - Oh my God, kutti girl looks soooo cute - she absolutely doesn't resemble you! :)) So now I feel bad for KB who looks (apparently, I don't see it) just like me...when he was born, some friends called my mom and just could not stop going on and on about how KB is "Achchu" me! :)
Poppins :) Like I wrote to someone, my eulogy will read "Responsible for increasing world population by recklessly posting pictures" (and not telling people the truth about how much more work it is!) :)
But in reality - see my comment to NM...
CofS - thanks :)
Moppet's mom - yes, definitely. Even on days when it is horrible, you will have moments of pure joy and delight...no doubt!
30in05 - thanks. You plan to do the tag? I should check your site soon - may be you have already done it :)
TA - thanks!
Sumana - thanks...tag?
Choxbox - :)
U're so right about the second child...it's amazing how much they add to the family, and what you said about loving the first one in the role of elder sibling is very true. have spent all weekend marvelling at this!
BEV - thanks for your comment...Yes, my God the role of the older sibling and the love they show can just melt your heart...just amazing...
