Pictures...

Thanks to every one for your kind wishes...I will post about the exciting birth story when I am able to sit down and write about it. In the meanwhile I figured I would post a couple of pictures. It has been crazy since we got home on Tuesday afternoon (I delivered the baby on sunday afternoon). Taking care of my son who cooperated so wonderfully well when I was away at the hospital, making him feel like he is still just as important and spending all the free time with him, getting baby girl to nurse, talking to people who have been calling to congratulate, spending time with my sister and nephew who are visiting...it's been a mad house here. I feel as if I am in a time continuum where day merges into night without any distinction - I am up at all hours. Feel exhuasted at the end of the day but somehow muster the energy to wake up every 3 hours to nurse...all you moms out there know how that is and have been through all of the same things. Things will start settling down in a little while. In the mean time, here are a couple of pictures of kutti girl! And her little brother!

Take it easy Noon. I can smell tha newborn baby smell, just as I looked at those cute pictures. I see pictures of new born babies, esp the first one you have posted, where your baby girl is turned to one side with that cute cap on her head....sigh....I feel a familiar twinge in my stomach! I don't have the physical and mental enegry to go through pregnancy and birth once again though!

Utbt,
Thanks...
Have you decided not to go for a second - looks like from your comment here. Or you mean not right now? Hope you do have a second. Worth it - was just telling my husband - it feels good, complete etc but it is soo much work. Incredible amount of work with two little ones. Also I find myself feeling so anxious that they should be safe, healthy, happy etc. May be just the post partum feeling here!

Anamika, thanks! Yes, my son's world has changed but so far he seems to love the baby - will post about his reactions sometime. I try hard to spend a lot of time with him. (partly why I don't have much free time at all to write/read posts, esp with my mom who keeps telling me to sleep when both kids are asleep!)

NM - go for it! Hope you have a daughter soon! Yes, I won't deny first week is v tough...

Trishna, just like that - thanks!
Yes, it's really that been there done that feeling - starting with new born size diapers , nursing etc!
